This is an Animal Combat spreadsheet that was not published. Think Weight times Speed to obtain Pound-MPH which translates into how many hit points of Damage the animal can inflict. Pulse is how many hit points the animal can receive before dying. Reaction is now the Reflex attribute.

For example, the African Buffalo weighs 1,900 pounds and can run 23.767 miles per hour. That is 45,157 pound-miles per hour. If it gores, tramples, or bites a human, the human receives d10 hit points (1-10 h.p.) of damage. The African Buffalo has a Pulse of d10 which means it can take 28 hit points of damage (d12 = 40 hit points; d10 = 28 h.p.; d8 = 18 h.p.; d6 = 10 h.p; d4 = 4 h.p.). The African Buffalo has a Reflex of d6. It is definitely a Land Animal. (Keep in mind that some species travel in herds, flocks, or schools. An agent does not want to be trampled by a herd of African Buffalo.)

Weight in Pounds; Speed in Miles per Hour; Pound - Miles per Hour; Damage; Pulse (Physical Fitness); Reaction; Environment: A = Air; L = Land; W= Water; I = Insect.
